There’s nothing quite like an oversized phone for retro cool; after years and years of trying to make handsets as small as humanly possible, fashion has taken a 180-degree turn and now the rule seems to be ‘the bigger, the better’! Native Union’s POP phone is built in the image of the classic 1950’s Bakelite telephone, which allows users to all of the functionality of a smartphone but with a big dollop of retro style!
This bright, funky handset has a soft, comfortable grip and comes in a variety of exciting colours (my favourite, as always, is red); there is a long curled wire that stretches out to plug into your computer, iPad or iPhone using the 3.5mm jack on the end. You can be ‘on the phone’ but still enjoy full functionality of the device, such as reading emails and playing games (a bit rude, but whatever…!); what’s great is how you can make Skype calls for free and it is just like you are on your regular house phone! Another big plus to the Native Union POP phone is that it reduces the users’ exposure to potentially harmful radiation exposure by up to 96%, so if you are health conscious, this is pretty essential.
All in all, an absolutely fabulous accessory that will mean that you’re the envy of any hipsters that spot you with it!
