I begin most case reviews in the same way – by explaining that I don’t really use cases and that most cases remain on my device approximately 1 day, or the period taken to review the case – whichever is longer (usually). Then I state that I felt a need to review *this* case because it actually stayed on my device longer than 1 day. This is just such a case.

The ZooGue iPad Case meets my 3 key (fairly high) expectations:

  • Looks good
  • A lot of protection
  • Includes the magnetic on-off thing that the iPad does, because it’s really annoying when case manufacturers assume you don’t want one of the really cool features of your device!

It does all of these things, but it also gives you a whole range of ways to stand the device, at any angle, with a sturdiness that will withstand even the most jab-y typing on the on-screen keyboard. It does this using Velcro that allows you to prop your iPad up at an Angle from ~0 to 70 degrees. It works (shocking – right?!).

Overall, this is the iPad case that is currently protecting my iPad, it’s not the lightest case, but it feels extremely rugged – if someone went to punch me, it would be the most obvious thing I own to use as a shield!

I also thought this was a great feature:

The included handle-band can be extended around a chair-headrest for back-seat iPad watching.

If you’re looking for a great, rugged iPad case with a range of ways to stand your iPad the ZooGue case is a great choice.
