Mahindra e2O Plus
Mahindra has been a pioneer in the market of electric car manufacturing in India, with the launch of its very first Mahindra e2O. The company is now putting a step forward by launching its new e2O Plus with upgraded features like the new 72V Li-ion battery powertrain that will provide a driving range of around 140 km, with a power of 40bhp, 85 km/Hr maximum speed, and 91Nm of peak torque. The new e2O Plus also comes with an emergency SOS feature, like the earlier e2O, which can provide additional driving range of 7-10 kms in case of any emergency. The price range of this electric car is expected to be around INR 5-8 Lakhs.
Mahindra KUV100 Electric
This is going to be a great option for the SUV lovers. The engine features of this all new KUV100 Electric version will be same that of the petrol version like 77bhp power and 190Nm of torque, with some added benefits of the new electric powertrain attached to it. The price range of this electric SUV is expected to be around INR 5-9 Lakhs.
New Tata Nano EV
Tata recently discontinued the Nano owing its poor sales. However, the Nano is not dead yet. The company has joined hands with Jayem Auto to launch an electric version of Nano. This new small car will come with some average features like 54bhp power, 115Nm torque, 5-gear automatic transmission, maximum travelling range of 100 km, and maximum speed of 110 km/hr. Tata has had to face a lot of criticism due to many faults in the Tata Nano engine, but now the company has revamped its engines with the new Nano EV model. The expected price of this electric car would be around INR 5-9 Lakhs.
Tata Tigor & Tiago EV
Tata has already made a mark with its petrol version of Tata Tigor and Tiago, and now the company is looking forward to launch the electric variants of these models. The Tiago electric version of the car will be available with 85Kw electric motor, with a 40bhp power. On the other hand, Tigor electric version will have a less power than Tiago. The other features of these two electric cars will be same that of the petrol version. The reach per km of both cars will be around 100km maximum per charge. The prices are not yet announced by the company, but it is estimated that these cars will cost around INR 9-12 Lakhs, excluding the GST charges.
Mahindra eVerito
Once again Mahindra proved its clout in the electric car sector in India with its new eVerito, which is affordable, looks stunning, and has reliable electric components of Mahindra manufacturing. The eVerito comes powered by a powerful electric motor like that of e20Plus, with a 72V battery powertrain, 40bhp power, and 91Nm torque. An average Indian car lover cannot expect more than that in a 9.5 to 10 Lakh priced car. And not only this, you can go for long drives with its high range of 110 km on a single full charge.
