There’s only a few more days to go until we launch App Idol, our competition in which we encourage anybody with an idea for an app to submit their idea in written form to be in with a chance of winning:
- $1,000 prize money
- Leading development company Locassa will develop the app
- Feedback and mentoring from four successful app entrepreneurs on the panel of judges
- Marketing for the app on iPhoneAppCafe.com and our partner sites including the social reach of over 100,000 followers of our high profile judges
- The winner will be featured on iPhoneLife.com and circulated to their 100,000 newsletter subscribers
A panel of successful app entrepreneurs will review the finalists’ submissions. We have four high profile judges on the panel, which we will be announcing in the lead up to the event.
We can now reveal that the second judge of our panel is none other than Rob Shoesmith!
The hero in a true rags-to-riches tale, Rob is a former bin man who’s dreams came true when MEDL Mobile used their App Incubator to develop and successfully promote his app Problem Halved, as well as hiring him as their marketing executive. His biography ‘Bin There Done That’ is in the US iTunes Bookstore’s top 3 Free Biographies and Memoirs.
We’ll announce the remaining judges very soon…
That’s fantastic that Rob will be one of the judges!
What an amazing opportunity iPhoneAppCafe are offering!
Good luck everyone!
Congrats Rob!
