Sync.ME is an app that will brighten up your address book and make your friends envious every time one of your contacts rings you up. Its redeeming feature is the ability to link all of your contacts on your iPhone to each of their individual Facebook, LinkedIn or Google + accounts.
From the image your contact has posted on their social media profile, the app takes that image and displays it on your phone every time they call you. Furthermore, the caller’s image will fill up your entire screen, so you can see right away who calls you. And don’t worry if a contact decides to change their Facebook image or LinkedIn profile picture, as most of us often do, because the app has a feature which will synchronise across all of your contact names and update the latest image displayed on their individual profile, so that it displays on your iPhone.
The app also works a treat for the iPhone (iPhone 5 and upwards only), iPad and iPod touch. During the synchronisation process, your iPhone will display how many contacts have been synchronized and how many there are still left to do.
The caller ID service also has a fabulous feature where you receive calls from unknown contacts. We all get those annoying unwanted calls from time to time and where most of us don’t bother to answer them, almost all of us are in some way or another left floundering with confusion as to who that caller might have been. It can often play on our minds for several hours afterwards and leave us frustrated.
The caller ID feature on Sync.ME will tell you where that call came from and who it was that rang you, regardless of where in the world they happen to call from. The app also has a great feature that lets you know when its birthday time for any of your contacts.
You will never need to forget when one of your contacts is about to celebrate a birthday, because Sync.ME will give you a reminder and for certain contacts it will have a feature that lets you be reminded a certain period before the actual day of your friend’s birthday. This will allow you time to go out and grab a present or get a birthday card. And if you decide to call your contact to wish them a happy birthday, your iPhone will also display the contact’s image sourced from their social media account, just as it does when they call you.
