So ladies and gentlemen, I can get on the app train for almost any game, I am a gamer myself, (I played Final Fantasy III on the Super Nintendo forever – and I beat it!) but now that games have changed into apps, I am learning. I actually got a chance to try out an app for you guys and I got to see what the brand new game from Astro Ape Studios was all about and I have to say, I was underwhelmed. This is actually a game that I thought was going to be super cute, super fun and I could not, for the life of me figure it out. Not only is it super hard to navigate through, but once you start to navigate through it, it changes a bit.
I played this game for an hour straight, to test it out and make sure that I got myself acclimated with it and still, I got nowhere. So what is all the fuss about? What do you have to do with it? Well guys, it is basically Cafe World on Facebook but in Monster form. You are a zombie – until you unlock Frankenstein of course and you have to put food onto your fire and then serve it when it is done. The food can take anywhere from 3 minutes to 1 hour – in the beginning.
That is not all you do though as there are mini games! The mini games can be fun, I did play the matching game where you match the lightning strikes and bring Frankenstein back together, but overall, I was underwhelmed and that is scary.
However, I did give it a two star ranking because it is free, it can be fun once you get the hang of it and the graphics are wicked cute!
