King’s Choice helps you flex your leadership skills as you govern your citizens and manage life in the medieval era. Apart from knowing how to navigate the tricky waters of court affairs, you’ll also have to expand your power in this SLG-slash-RPG sim, and here are just a few tips and tricks you can use to make sure you’re the most feared and revered ruler across 15th century Europe.

Recruiting the cream of the crop

Having the right Knights by your side can greatly turn the tide of battle in your favor when it matters most. They not only offer you special buffs such as boosts in the amount of Grain and Silver that you acquire during collections, but they also have an impact on the number of soldiers earned as well as on troop casualties.

That said, you should keep your eye on the prize – in particular, aim to recruit the top four Scholars Thomas Aquinas, Aristotle, Homer and Leonardo da Vinci. Their High Initial Talents and Extra Aura attributes prove invaluable on the battlefield, so be sure to take part in ops events and ranking events to collect [Books of Sages] you can use to summon these Famous Scholars.

Choosing the best Knights for you

When you’ve got a healthy selection of Knights on your roster, picking the right ones to invest in can be a bit of a pickle. Make sure that you choose the right one to prioritize during training depending on the amount that you recharge.

For instance, for V2 or lower, Ferdinand Magellan’s high Strength Talents can spell the difference between victory and defeat, while Greg’s balanced attributes will help you boost your Power when you’re starting out. Four-star Knight Galileo Galilei, on the other hand, has high initial Leadership Talents, while Terrence contributes to your Lover buffs as well.

Buffing up your prestige

Acquiring prestige points also helps you gain lord levels quicker. Simply do dailies and complete level 5 to score a 50 prestige box a day reward, or participate in limited-time quests to pile up those prestige chests. You can also obtain prestige points with the Interior Ministry, as well as by congratulating someone during cross-server events (that’s an easy 60 prestige points a day).

Speaking of easy prestige points, you can also simply watch videos five times a day for 25 extra prestige. Battling through Outpost chapters, Endless Wars, and Dragon Isle – Kulshedra Lairs helps you rack up those points as well.

Anniversary goodies and more

King’s Choice offers plenty of other in-game goodies and limited-time events, including a new Pet system and Home system where you can chill out and lounge around to take a quick break from your battles.
