At times the bus or train journey to work is boring, noisy and stressful. There are times when you just want to play a game on your iPhone that’s simple, fun and at the same time challenging. This so that you can zone out from all the manic that’s going on around you. That’s why I decided to try out Maxine’s Snack Attack app.

It’s one of those apps that you can pick up and play and enjoy whenever you have some spare time. With up to 100 levels the apps does pack a challenge as well.

Playing is easy, think candy crush mix with fruit ninja. With Maxine’s Snack Attack you will need to swipe on the foods of the same colour to destroy them from your game board. The amount you can swipe is down to how many matches you can get in a row. The minimum is 3 or more foods. You do however have only 10 moves to complete the board. To complete levels you have to collect stars or sometimes it will be ingredients, the objective varies the more you progress through the game. You do have the option of adding boosts if the game gets a bit difficult for you. The boost varies from you destroying a whole row, some items or a single item on the game board. Oh, and there is also time limit in some levels. It gets harder and harder when you got through the levels.

Maxine’s Snack Attack is free to download. There are in-app purchases that allows you to get boosts, increase your time limit or gain more lives on the 5 that you get. The app is challenging but fun and at times frustrating because you will want to get through the levels.
