Christmas specials are often a little cheesy, but none of them takes the biscuit as much as Alda Games’ new release, ‘World of Cheese’. Luckily for gamers, the plethora of dairy products is intentional and adds to the fun in this cute little game that really is fun for the whole family.
You take control of Mr Mousey, who has a huge family of fellow mice who have grumbling stomachs; yep, they need their cheese. Your job is to locate the missing stashes of cheese in a huge 35-room manor and its surrounding fields, completing tasks along the way. Guide Mr Mousey through seven stages, each with multiple tasks that include painting fences and milking a cow and get rewarded with a generous hunk of cheddar at the end of each completed mission.
The creativity of the tasks is pretty impressive as they range from building your own robot to repairing a car in the garage. Concurrently, the game will teach younger users a wide variety of skills; by tapping away at the screen, you’ll learn how to play chess, scramble eggs and, most importantly for our furry little friends, the importance of garbage separation.
With a catchy soundtrack, cute graphics and simple, accessible gameplay, World of Cheese is a lovely little app that will keep those young in age or heart amused for hours on end.
