For those of you who are concerned that it’s only a matter of time before the newspaper industry collapses and everything ‘goes digital’, look away now. The Guardian have released a new update of their iPhone app which means that their readers can now access the website from their iPhones, keeping them updated with breaking news from around the world as well as the latest football scores.
With the free app being designed for offline users to browse stories at their leisure, there is also a subscription fee for upgrades to the paid app, which is available at a cost of £2.99 (or local currency equivalent) for six months, or £3.99 for 12 months via In App Purchase, which will include up-to-the-minute news updates and homepage customization options.
