FanDuel is fantasy sports at its best. You can play one-day fantasy sports leagues, so everyone gets a chance to win – someday. What I did notice about FanDuel is that it’s geared towards the American sports market. So you will play football (American Football), baseball, basketball and hockey. But the great news is – you will pit your skills for real money!
If you win (and I have yet to get to that stage) you’ll get paid out straight away. And that’s not in tokens, weapons, credits or bitcoins – we are talking real cash. One of the most splendid things of all is that there’s no season-long commitment which sees the very elite players always win. In FanDuel you’ll get an opportunity to win in a day.
You can join leagues with your friends and family or alternatively go into a league where there are more players, complete strangers and people from the general public. I found these leagues were paying out more for the league winner, especially within the Fantasy Football league structures.
You will of course have put in some of your cash to play but I didn’t mind putting in just a dollar here and a dollar there; the stakes are incredibly low and you don’t really mind if you end up losing (or not coming top of the league) when the stake is so low.
You will get the impression the app is very much big league in itself. Apparently it pays out a cool $10 million every week and has even got a mention on international media spotlights like ESPN, Yahoo Sport, Sports Illustrated, Wall Street Journal and the New York Times.
I have always loved fantasy football leagues but by tradition they will run the entire course of the season. This one does not. One day is all it takes and if you don’t win today, try again for tomorrow. You can even chop and change your team members and players every day or every week if you so wish.
This is very handy as sometimes a player is injured or is just not performing and there comes a time when you need to replace key players within your fantasy team. You will get to choose a long list of players who are top team members within competitive leagues like the NFL, NBA, and NHL and of course the CFB. Just remember to stay under your salary cap!
