Of the 700 million odd active users of Facebook, it’s fair to say that at least a few of them will own iPads and even fairer to say how excited they’ll be once Facebook finally releases an official Facebook app that is specially formatted for an iPad.
When the Apple App Store opened in July 2008, Facebook already had their app available for iPhone users to download; however, after over a year of the iPad being released to the public, there has been no official iPad Facebook app…until now.
Rumours have it that the app will allow users to shoot and upload pictures and videos directly to Facebook using their iPad; this will surely please the 250 million Facebook users that access and use the site from a mobile device.
