appture iPhone App Review

Introduction: Appture allows photographers to share their photos in a storytelling format to upload and share with family and friends.

Pros:

  • Share your photos with whom you choose.
  • Only people you invite can see your photos.
  • Leave voice comments.
  • Real time chat!
  • Create groups.
  • Share photo contribution.
  • Set location and time.

Upload photos from Facebook, Instagram, Flickr and Picasa.

The app has a lot of cool features; unfortunately, it’s still a little bit buggy at times. It’s still worth the install and use though, as getting more users means that it receives more feedback so that Sirqul, Inc. can work out those bugs.

Summary:

No need to worry about privacy settings – only the people you invite can see your photos. Have you ever wanted to share your photos in a storytelling format? Well, now you can. Upload your photos to Appture and immerse your audience in your tale. You can add audio commentary to your photos and paint the picture of your story. While they are viewing your photos and listening to your thoughts you can chat with them in real-time and anyone you invite can join in the fun.

This is a great tool for sharing with friends and family but it is also a great tool for sharing works in need of feedback. I found this perfect for a photography critique. There are so many features here, it’s well worth the install. It does get a little buggy from time to time, but it’s not a huge headache.
