Great news for those of us who like our devices jailbroken! Details after the break:A jailbreak has been available for the latest version of IOS for a while now, but unfortunately it was “tethered.” The difference between a tethered and untethered jailbreak is that a tethered Jailbreak require you to plug the Idevice into your computer every time you reboot. Naturally this can be quite a hassle, and leads to many users just avoiding an update all together until an untethered version is available. Well as of this morning its safe to update! All the big names like Redsn0w and pwnage tool already have the new jailbreak integrated so provided you aren’t afraid to void your warranty go right ahead! Unfortunately, this is only for pre-A5 devices so no 4S or IPad 2 support just yet, but stay tuned. I’m sure those devices will have an exploit soon too.
