We have compiled the 5 best zombie iPhone apps for you to read and review, then get downloading and enter the world of the undead!
1. Zombie Fields: Can You Kill the Undead?! –
This app is actually pretty cool, for a zombie shoot ’em up. Ok, set your options and away we go. Beginner Zombie killer here, so Survival mode (“fight endless waves of zombies, how long can you survive?), ok, pick my character, a chick of course. I set my difficulty level to easy. I find these first person shooter type games to be difficult for me to manage. But, it’s zombies, so I had to give it a try. Next, all spawns picked and we are off on daytime, and let’s go hunt us some zombies. The music is awesome, that is all I can keep saying about it. The beat goes on, the rock keeps you entertained and you kill, kill, kill, murder, murder, murder zombies.

2. Plants vs. Zombies: Oi Frankenstein, Leaf It Out! –
Imagine if a group of zombies came back from the dead and attacked your house. How on earth would you defend yourself against those who are, essentially, undead. Well, just use the flowers in the garden, it seems. Plants vs. Zombies is a light-hearted look at the idea of people coming back from the dead with a chip on their shoulder. It is not a game that should be taken too seriously and even if you didn’t like it, the basic idea will raise a smile on many iPhone owners’ faces. By planting sunflowers in your garden, you will eventually collect enough sunlight to grow an impressive shrubbery. As well as its visual beauty, those flowers will come in handy once the zombies attack. But fortunately, the plants are not quite what they seem. They possess the ability to shoot, trap and eliminate the zombies one-by-one, meaning that the more care you take over your garden, the more likely you are to survive the invasion.

3. Zombie Booth: Become The Undead! –
Zombie Booth will transform your picture into a 3D zombie who will swipe and scratch as a reaction to your screen taps. With scary sound effects and he possibility of losing a digit or two to the zombie-version of yourself, this is the most impressive of the face transformation apps.

4. Call of Duty: World at War Zombies: Kill Kill Kill!!! –
With four sizeable levels to the game, it is safe to say that it will take even the most avid gamer a respectable time to complete it or even get bored of it. Furthermore, it also supports up to four players via Wi-Fi/Internet and two players via Bluetooth. Having been introduced to the game on the Xbox platform whilst at university, it’s been a popular hit amongst my old friends.
Superb graphics ensure that the environment is every bit as murky as its Xbox predecessor, with the Zombies looking every bit the part. With the release of other similar apps including ‘New York Zombies’ and ‘Predator’ to name but a few, for gaming satisfaction this app ticks all the boxes. Granted it may not be for the faint hearted (you must be over 17 to buy the app) and you will only really experience the full ferocity of the game on an advanced gaming machine, but the iPhone app is a great effort.

5. Monsterz Revenge: Worst Of A Good Bunch
You are a zombie – until you unlock Frankenstein of course and you have to put food onto your fire and then serve it when it is done. The food can take anywhere from 3 minutes to 1 hour – in the beginning. That is not all you do though as there are mini games! The mini games can be fun, I did play the matching game where you match the lightning strikes and bring Frankenstein back together, but overall, I was underwhelmed and that is scary. However, I did give it a two star ranking because it is free, it can be fun once you get the hang of it and the graphics are wicked cute!
