What’s your biggest dream? You know, the one you think you’ll never get around too, but still hold out hope that one day, some way, you’ll make it a reality? It could be buying a house in Tuscany. It could be riding elephants. It could be traversing the Arctic Tundra. Whatever it is, I assure you it’ll help to write it down. It helps you visualise it, helps your mind construct it as a potential reality. And do you know what’s even better than writing it down? Writing it down and letting other people know all about it. Not in an annoying way, just putting it out there to hopefully engage with fellow like-minded dreamers. You can probably see where I’m going with this. There is indeed somewhere you can do just that. It’s called BUCKiTDREAM, and it’s out now for iOS and Android.
We reviewed BUCKiTDREAM a couple of months ago, and found it to be a delightfully inspiring app with genuine heart, made from a genuine place. Developed in California, the app was brand new when we got our hands on it, but since then, they’ve streamlined and perfected their creation as best they can, meaning that we now have an optimised app to review. Firstly, it’s now out for Google Play as well as iOS, which is good news for everyone; there’s more dreamers to be inspired by, and more users to engage with posts.
On top of that, the whole user experience has improved. The app functions as a kind of cross between Facebook and Instagram, taking the best of both worlds; the community feeling of the former with the aesthetics of the latter, a combination which works wonders. Users share posts in the form of dreams, which others can then engage with, like, share and generally be inspired by. They can be anything you want; the point is to get them written down and up in front of others. New features, like the ability to add moments to your dreams, really help the user experience and round BUCKiTDREAM out into a fully-formed experience.
Someone else who’s taken notice of this feel-good app is one Ellen DeGeneres. She featured the app on her show a couple of days ago, which saw BUCKiTDREAM team up with America’s most popular TV host to make one superman’s dream come true. Check out the video above to see if they succeeded. As well as Ellen, the developers recently joined forces with Richard Branson, to run a competition on his Necker Island. This kind of exposure is invaluable to the app, and will really help this most endearing of social networks find a user base, which is good news for everyone. If you’re bored of the traditional social platforms, give BUCKiTDREAM a shot; I promise you won’t regret it.
Skip over to the App Store or Google Play and get dreaming big today!
