Surprisingly, it is hard to find a good captioning software for your iOS device that actually offers versatility and flexibility. Everything that I have downloaded before forced me into captioning their images where they wanted me to caption them, and that was that. No freedom or creativity, just canned results from boxed images. So glad that I came across this app.
The iPhotoCap application is a quick and easy way for you to caption your photos on your iOS device. The program allows you to snap a shot from your camera or choose from existing images are stored on your device. Once you load your picture, whatever you put into the text box is put over the image as a caption for the picture. This is when the fun begin! Once you input your text and press the arrow, you are then able to place the text in any position on the image that you want! To put multiple captions, all you have to do is put one caption that you want on the image, put it where you want it and then click save. Once you save the image, the caption is now in place and you are ready to put in a new caption and repeat until you are done. The only down side to this application is that to make an image with multiple captions, you have to save multiple images on your device.
Once you have the photo that you want, now it’s time to share it with your friends, your family, or people you don’t like! You can upload to Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, through email, text messaging, Tumblr, Flickr, or any other web service that you can think of! The biggest positive that this application has: You can share to your social web service without giving permission outside of viewing personal data. While other applications want to post on your behalf, message friends, and be able to access your account at any time; iPhotoCap just wants you to share your creations with those who matter most to you. It even allows you to caption your creations while uploading to your favorite social media websites.
If you are looking for a photo captioning application, look no further. This application is beautifully made, simple to navigate and easy to share your creations without the hassle of having to share your personal data with the developer. The application allows captions to be easily moved to your desired location, unlike other apps that only allow you to place a predetermined length caption in a predetermined place. It is a definite 5-star app, download and have fun!
