There are plenty of Bluetooth headsets on the market, so many so that it’s tricky to know which one to choose; well, here at iPhoneAppCafe, we reckon that you’ve got to break things down to basics. The point of a headset is to talk to someone on the phone without being, uh, on the phone; to achieve this to a satisfactory level of contentment, you have to be able to cancel out any background noise, ensuring that you can hear the person on the other end. By this logic, the headset with the best noise cancellation would surely be the best, no?
Whether this layman’s attempt at logic is accurate or not, I can whole-heartedly say that the JABRA Extreme2 Bluetooth headset is the best headset that I have ever come across. Its ergonomically designed earpiece slots over either ear with ease and the consistency of it is such that it is so lightweight that you barely realise that it’s there.
It has 5.5 hours of talk time and 10.5 hours of standby time which you can save by flicking the power off when it’s not in use.
As well as making calls, you can listen to music that is streamed wirelessly from your iPhone; the quality is as crisp and clear as it is when you’re making calls, although the fact that it is only coming into one ear means that it’s never going to rival headphones; however, this factor does mean that its very useful for listening to music whilst working or being out and about but still needing to take and make calls.
It comes equipped with a car charger, AC charger and a USB charger so that you’ll never suffer from a flat battery, wherever you go. Plus the headset is plain black so you can touch your finger to it when wearing a suit and pretend that you’re a bodyguard. (If you wanted to.)
The extreme noise cancellation feature is what lifts the JABRA Extreme2 Bluetooth headset into the upper echelons of Bluetooth headsets; if you want the best of the best, this is for you.
