Looks like the big smartphone announcements are starting early, as Motorola mobility has unveiled two new Gingerbread powered handsets. The first (pictured left) is the MOTOLUXE, (and yes they insist on caps) and is a European market version of the XT615 unveiled last year both in China and in an FCC filing. The other is the DEFY Mini, a follow up to the surprisingly popular rugged Android offering currently available. Specs and a promo video after the break:The MOTOLUXE features a 4-inch display, an 8-megapixel shooter with a flash and a VGA camera around the front for video chat. Unfortunately, under the hood is an underwhelming 800MHz processor, so don’t expect mind blowing performance but the phone is very thin, almost as thin as the RAZR. The DEFY mini, features the same specs as the original but in a smaller form factor thanks to its 3.2-inch display. Like the original this things is dust proof, water proof and features gorilla glass. The real surprise the DEFY mini brings to the table however, is the battery. The promotional materiel is claiming a solid 10-hours of talk time, which is fantastic for an Android device.
